Mrs Gig Promo Gig?

Hey there!

I was planning on putting on a gig this summer in deal, and I have spoken to kris about making it a Mrs.gig promo gig, there are still one or two slots remaning if any bands wanna jump in there?

I dont know if we can get mrs gig flyers and badges and stuff availible for june/julyish time, but it would be awesome if we could.

If anyone has any ideas on this one, put them foreward!

These flyers should be ready soon, dude.

I havent got the go ahead for the skatepark gig yet, as the woman I have to ask is on hoilday as well. But, I spoke to her colleagues, and they think its a great idea!

I have to make a business plan (something I know quite a bit about) and market research. I havent moved things forward yet concerning promotion (havent done ANY) because the forum hosts are still trying to iron out that stupid bug.

I'm thinking of sodding it, and just going ahead with promotion anyway.

i made a very small start yesterday by going on a couple of relevant myspace groups. i know it's a drop in the bucket but every little helps. i haven't been on the chatbox at any useful time for like a week, but i will definately be at some point this week so i can get an update on stuff kris

The council bird comes off holiday on Monday, so I can have a good chinwag with her about the skatepark gig (you guys would love that!), and will make a new thread about developments...

Ok, managed to get some info. It's looking good for us to do a gig at the opening of the skatepark, but it's certainly not a definate.

I have to make some calls about health and safety, plus other issues, tomorrow.

Definatly going to have the band i work with at the club playing. It'll prick the councils ears up if we cater for a younger audience.

Raph, you up for it? Would be good to get a young local Deal band playing.

Chris, get back to me if you would like Hey Zeus to play. I have no dates yet mate, but it'll be in the summer.
